Two Weeks In

Two Weeks In….a lifetime to go!!!

The first two weeks back in training mode have gone really well.  I’m consitent with 3-4 miles 3-4 times a week.  The plan is to keep that up for the next 4 weeks, then jump on a more structured 1/2 marathon training plan for the San Diego Half Marathon on March 11, 2012!!

But I have EXCITING news…after my begging and pleading (and strategically placed mugs of hot chocolate and truffles), I did not succeed in convincing Katie that the Hot Chocolate 15K (on her birthday) was something we just couldn’t miss.  BUT, the San Diego Half, she is in!!!

This is my prediction of our smiling faces at the finish!!! (my apologies to the lady in all her glory in the background…)
