After a whirlwind start to the weekend at the Gaylord, I hurried home to hang with my little brown dog (and her brothers) so I could get up bright and early and travel to PA. Today was the Autism York Community Awareness Day.
What a turnout! I was so overwhelmed with the number of people that showed up to support the autistic community today.
I’m organizing and hosting a golf tournament to support Autism York on September 22nd at the Links at Gettysburg. It’s my first go at something like this, so it’s a bit overwhelming, but a lot of fun at the same time. All of the proceeds will go to Autism York to help fund and expand their existing programs. I took the opportunity today to get the word out about the tournament.
If you are interested in joining the fun for an amazing cause, please consider joining us (or if golfing will cause you physical danger – I’ve seen it – we also have sponsorship opportunities available!!!).
I’m back home now and am going to get some shut eye – have our Girls On The Run 5K tomorrow!!!
